Be Social
Invite a friend to lunch to talk about politics, or organize a politically inspired group event. Book club, museum outing, postcard writing, protest carpool. Build a pool of friends you can talk things over with. Take turns processing, or create a “news group” to research rapidly emerging information.

How to do it:
This can be as simple or complicated as you want. Start a book group for inspiring or educational books about resistance, or invite a friend to go to a Museum exhibit you’re interested in. Have a British High Tea with postcards and fancy pens, or plan a group outing to the protest.
Do something to build resistance into your day to day social world. The things we do with friends, we keep doing. If you have no like-minded local friends, look for a way to connect online. There are virtual book clubs, or plan a trip to a nearby city event.
