Collage and Charcuterie

We need casual company and a chance to express ourselves. Invite some friends over for a night of anyone-can-do it art and snacks. Provide everything yourself, or go potluck: have folks bring something for the charcuterie tray, a bottle of wine, or a couple of old magazines to cut up.

This is a great way to do easy Holiday entertaining!

How to do it:

This can be as fancy or simple as you want.

FOOD: invite everyone to bring their favorite snack, or throw a formal English Tea Party with cucumber sandwiches: it’s entirely up to you. Do you enjoy putting on a spread? Or would you rather invite everyone to contribute?

Drinks: have a pitcher of your favorite cocktail, a potluck gin tasting (everyone brings a bottle to sample), or throw sodas in a sink full of ice. (Do make sure to have at least a few non-alcoholic options.)

Collage: collect old magazines, glue guns, markers or crayons, scissors and something to paste things onto. Have a theme or keep it wide open. You’re having fun, building community, and blowing off some steam. Here’s a how-to, but keep it simple!

If you have the space, set up a few quiet places for folks to get away for one on one conversation or if feelings come up.
