Crack ICE

ICE is a disorganized agency that relies on local contractors. From detention facilities to lodging, it needs local alliances to function. If direct observation (and possible confrontation) isn’t in your comfort zone, move one step out: focus on the places profiting from ICE’s cruelty.

How to do it:

Sludge is a media group that reports by following the money. They’ve built a google map with companies that have new (or updated) contracts with ICE since Trump’s second inauguration. Find local contractors and contact them:

  • be polite. Start by asking about their contract. If it’s already ended, been terminated, or if there are errors, give them a chance to explain.
  • If you’re a customer, tell them what it will take to keep you/bring you back.
  • Tell them what you plan to do: publicize them online, plan a protest, write a letter to the editor, etc. Then do it.

If you find this resource useful, consider subscribing or donating to Sludge. It took real effort to build this map.
