We know elections matter, because it’s an election that caused <<all this>> We also know they wouldn’t work to gerrymander and voter suppress if they planned to steal it outright.
Your vote matters. Make sure they don’t steal it. Check your voter registration, put deadlines on the calendar, and drop (don’t mail) ballots.

Check your registration
Successful voter purges likely swung several states in 2024. The GOP is openly seeking to escalate this activity, so check your registration often. Visit Vote.gov, for easy to follow directions. Set yourself a reminder to re-check your status a week or more in advance of registration deadlines for upcoming elections in the next year. Put the URL right in the calendar reminder, for convenience.
Pay attention to small elections
Special elections since 2024 have swung the House several seats in our direction. In fact, democrats are over-performing in nearly every special election. Make sure you don’t miss primaries, off-year issues, or special elections in your area. Visit your election board site and put any important dates on your calendar.
Vote every race
Most voters skip the small races, but judges decide whether rapists get a slap on the wrist, and school boards set book and bathroom policies. The tea party weaponized small-race voting more than a decade ago, and it’s paid off. Don’t waste your most powerful votes. Be one of the people who votes in every contested race.
