From ballet to choirs, enjoy your family traditions at home, where the kids can squirm and you can wear PJs. And if crowds were never your thing, consider adding a new tradition. The arts need more support than ever amid cuts.
How to do it:
Many traditional arts programs are moving into a modern world with (relatively) affordable online offerings. From the local Ballet company to the Symphony, to church-based choirs, there are more options than ever for supporting the arts without leaving your comfy chair. Check with groups in the nearest large city, or consider “attending” a famous production anywhere. It’s online!
