Never forget that on January 6th, 2021, Donald Trump tried to steal an election. Four years later we re-elected him anyway. One of his first acts was to pardon nearly 1600 people convicted of crimes from assault on a police officer to trespassing. It’s important we remember, and NPR has put together a powerful visual archive. Spend some time with it, and share it today.

How to do it:
Put a flag in the ground for truth. This is the hill we die on: insurrection is wrong, but Trump got away with it and came back to power. It’s all too common (Hitler has a similar story) and we need to remember it when power and privilege come into view. We must restore a nation where no one is too powerful to jail, nor too powerless for justice. Begin by reviewing this powerful NPR archive, then share it. Make January 6th a day to fight for equal access to justice.
