Make a Statement
Get some window paints and decorate your car with patriotic, progressive messages. This is an easy, fun way to flag support for protests or specific events, without adding permanent stickers to your car.

How to do it:
Pick up car-safe chalk or markers (often advertised for graduation and wedding decorating) and think up a short, informative message. You want something that’s absorbed quickly, and not too confrontational. Get window paints and decorate your car with patriotic but clearly progressive messages. Avoid inflammatory messages even if you live in a very Blue place: road rage is real. Your goal is to show people that dissent exists everywhere, is normal, and is widespread. Patriotic messages are a good choice: “Defend the Constitution” or “Freedom for All” or advertise information. Paired flags, like U.S. + Pride are good too. Look for things that make your meaning clear, but hard to argue with.
If you live in a place where this doesn’t feel safe, don’t do it. Instead, you could decorate your car and drive by protests you don’t attend, honking enthusiastically, or get sidewalk chalk and do some midnight marking in public places.
