Don’t do it Netflix!
Netflix Board member Susan Rice said things Trump didn’t like. So he’s demanding they fire him. Netflix wants to merge with Warner Bros. Discovery, and they need DOJ approval, so Trump has leverage.
If you’re a Netflix customer, let them know you won’t do business with companies that capitulate to Trump BEFORE they make a decision.
How to do it:
Call Netflix at 866.952.4456 and tell them you’ll cancel your membership if they capitulate to fascist demands. Use whatever language you want, but be polite to the people answering the phones. When we called, we got through in less than a minute, and the guy who helped us was confused about what we wanted. Here is a script you could use:
“Hi! I’ve been a Netflix customer for x years, and I’ve recently heard that Trump is demanding you fire board member Susan Rice. I want to be really clear: I do not do business with companies that obey fascist leaders. If you capitulate to Trump on this I’ll cancel my membership. I’m guessing you don’t have a box to check for this call, so please pass the message on to your manager.”
