Share your shot!
When you go get your flu and covid vaccination (or any other shot!) share it on social media. Make your post upbeat and cheerful. Focus on the positive. You’re an ambient reminder that it’s that time of year, and that this is something responsible people do!
How to do it:
Take a selfie of yourself with your bandaid, ask the tech if they mind being in the picture, or just post a note saying “Got my COVID and Flu shots today!” It’s that simple. No need to proselytize…the less you say the more you normalize it as something people just do.
If you don’t have insurance, look for free local clinics, or check Costco. You don’t have to be a member, and most years their flu shot is around $20.
