Support Public Media

On October 1st, 2025 our public media went without public funding for the first time in their history. Recently CPB dissolved themselves, rather than be mis-used. It’s up to us, now.

Donate to NPR, PBS or your local stations. Buy a subscription, or get a t-shirt that flags your support and funds them. Volunteer for a fund-raising drive. Get involved with the last free press we have, or we’ll lose it.

How to do it:

NPR and PBS have never been fully federally funded, but at a time when well-financed legacy media struggles to make ends meet, every source counts. The Trump regime has cut them off, and we need to make up the difference. If money is tight, consider switching a subscription from someone you no longer support (Disney -> PBS or NYT -> NPR). Donate the value of the cancelled subscription, or buy a PBS passport to replace lost programming.

Also check out the NPR Storefront for t-shirts to show your support, to them, and to neighbors. I got hubby the classic sweatshirt for his birthday and it is hands-down the softest sweatshirt I’ve ever touched. Highly recommended!
