Thank you cards
Do you send physical thank you cards? While you’re writing yours this holiday season, send a few to politicians who have done things you’re grateful for this year. Bonus points if it’s your own rep, but send them to anyone you think is fighting hard for us, especially if they may have national aspirations.

How to do it:
Politicians mostly hear from us when we want something, or we’re angry. That’s important, but how often do you tell the folks you actually admire that you appreciate their efforts? And do you ever tell the ones you don’t really trust when they get something right? If you’re sitting down to write thank you cards to friends and family, throw in a few to politicians or other leaders.
Find the addresses for your Senator or Representative.
