#CutTheFuel
You don’t have to like Maduro to object to the U.S. acting unilaterally and extra-judicially to kidnap a foreign leader. We can call Congress, but that hasn’t paid strong dividends, so hit them where it hurts: if the U.S. is starting wars for oil again, we strike at the pump.
Go fill up today, because January 8th we skip the pump!

How to do it:
Economic protests need bulk buy-in to be visible. Spinning one up quickly in mere days is virtually impossible, but the organizers of this have done a few smart things. Thursday January 8th is the first wildcat strike, with more to come. That means the first event is, itself, spreading the word. If enough of us participate, more people will join for the second date, and the next…
They also have this humane acknowledgement which suggests experience organizing:
We understand that some people run small businesses, provide emergency services, or may have urgent situations that require fuel. Please do what you need to do to get by and keep people safe. This action is about collective pressure not punishing the few who may need fuel that day to survive or serve their communities. So spread the word.
So spread the word, and skip the pump Thursday! And bookmark their announcement page for future dates and information.
