It’s hard to vet each and every business. Generally we recommend shopping small and local, because it keeps the money in your area, but what if you could shop small and local (somewhere) with an assurance you were only supporting businesses that stand up to fascism? The Minocqua Marketplace aims to collect actively anti-fascist business products in one location for your shopping ease.

For local options, look for signs in the window, or local organizations of progressive business owners. During Black history month and other special focuses look for tours or guides. If you have a favorite shop, ask them about other businesses they support.
