Elect Aftyn Behn
WHO!? Aftyn Behn is running for Tennessee’s District 7 in a special election DEC2. Once considered a hopless race, after the midterms an upset looks possible. In addition to the potential for a 0-vote margin in April (if we win three special elections, two of them longshots) there is also the “shot across the bow” even a close loss would send. This race wasn’t supposed to matter, but now it’s competitive!

How to do it:
The House loss in 2024 was razor-thin, and it’s been getting thinner ever since. This race, considered a presumed win for Republicans before the midterms, is no longer a sure thing. Many believe Johnson refused to seat Grijalva (D-AZ) because he was waiting for this result to neutralize her Epstein vote. When Democrats forced his hand by passing a short continuing resolution, the resulting chaos paid real dividends. That’s how much a single seat in the House can matter! Even more than reducing his slim majority further, it would send a shocking signal to the right: this is a district never expected to be competitive. Even a close loss will shake assumptions across politics.
