NorCal Resist
NorCal Resist has some of the most comprehensive mutual aid plans we’ve seen. From legal help to clinics to fix taillights (a common excuse for pullovers) they’ve set the standard for resistance as community. If you don’t have a local group you think needs support, donate to NorCal.
They’re also using art to fight, with the most creative set of fundraising clothes we’ve seen. If you want something fun to flag your position, check them out.
Why we do it:
When you wear a t-shirt, hoodie or other apparel that makes a statement, you normalize dissent. When you buy it from a group doing direct action to protect people and communities, your money goes to work twice. We’ve never seen such a broad collection of fun, artistic apparel from a group whose primary function is direct action. From the whimsical (check out the garbage panda!) to the blunt (Abolish ICE) they have a serious art committee producing some effective fund raisers.
