Got some vacation saved up and itching for a roadtrip? Like the idea of vacations with a greater purpose, but not into getting your hands literally dirty? Why not volunteer to door-knock for a candidate you admire, even if they aren’t local!
Why not volunteer to knock on doors and turn out the vote in critical, winnable races?
How to do it:
Common Power is a get out the vote group running campaigns in at least 20 states this midterm cycle. They organize teams to knock on doors, dispel myths, and GOTV before election deadlines across the country. Efforts are planned a few months ahead, generally for the weekend before election days (upcoming campaigns.) You can also donate to sponsor someone’s travel.
