Hate crimes against Jewish people are at an all-time high in America. A poll in February found more than half of American Jews have changed behaviors to avoid antisemitism. Almost one third report avoiding overtly Jewish events out of fear. So this year, find out if your town has a Channukah event (DEC14-21), and go stand with your Jewish neighbors. Let them know everyone deserve to celebrate holidays in joy and safety.

If you can’t risk a border crossing, or can’t afford international travel, plan a trip inside America. Whether you take a roadtrip or fly to a very different place for a long weekend, get out and meet people a little different from yourself.
