Minnesota is engaged in the largest general strike in eighty years, today. A General Strike takes organizing and preparation, and ICE’s brutality there has mobilized them to do that work. Whistles can be 3D printed for pennies, and now there’s a group whose “lane” is sending hundreds or even thousands of free whistles to anyone who needs them. Volunteers have already distributed more than 127k whistles. Help fund their efforts, or contact them to fuel your own whistle packs.
Today’s the day! At 2pm, walk out of wherever you are. Pull your kids out of class. Join a protest, rally, or speech, or just leave the place you are. If you’re home, go to a store like Target, Home Depot or Walmart, put a box of salt in a cart, and then walk out at 2.
