Resolutions

If making NYE resolutions is your tradition, include resistance! There are hundreds of ways to focus on resistance, or to sneak it into things you already wanted to do. From “call Congress once a week” to looking for a better job, make resistance part of your thinking.

How to do it:

Add a resistance resolution, or take the resolutions you already have and infuse them with resistance. Here are a few examples to get you started:

  • “Get more exercise” -> jog past the Home Depot lot and check for ICE
  • Read more books -> include some about resistance (real or fictional)
  • Be more fiscally responsible -> consider ethics in your buying decisions
