Find out what makes your home great, invest in local venues and products, and tell people! Bonus points for “DEI” activities, like museums that cover less-glorious chapters of American history, or restaurants featuring food from persecuted immigrants.
Artists drive resistance, so support the local arts community! Find a small-time artist who accepts commissions for bespoke work, and have something created for someone you love—or yourself! Commissioning art takes some faith and flexibility, but it creates a truly meaningful gift or memory.

Service members are in a tight spot: it’s illegal to refuse legal orders, or to follow illegal ones. Courts take months to decide, and service members face prison if they get it wrong. Show a friend or family member we have their back, especially if they face deployment to a place we shouldn’t be, like Venezuela, Greenland, or Minneapolis.
