Gift the News
Maybe you have a local friend or neighbor who would like to stay in the know on community happenings, but can’t afford it. Gift them a year’s subscription to a local newspaper, reputable magazine or PBS station!
How to do it:
Reputable reporting is struggling across the board. Gifting access to quality content is a thoughtful gift, and most subscriptions are set up to make it easy. Consider national magazines, local newspapers, or a Substack with premium perks.
Subscriptions make a particularly nice graduation or promotion gift, but they’re great for any gifting occasion, and bonus: you can order at the last minute and the recipient will never know!
