Join Indivisible

Think protests are performative? Of course they are! It’s important to show the world your values! It’s also important to back that with action, so if you aren’t already involved in a group that suits you, find one today. If you go to a protest, look for information/booths/talk to people. If you don’t, Indivisible is a good default starting point. They’re in most areas, committedly non-violent, and you’ll learn what’s going on as you meet people. Indivisible isn’t everyone’s last stop in activism, but it’s a good first step.

Micro-protest

If you don’t want to battle crowds for a big protest, join (or start!) a small one peripheral to the main event. Visibility Brigade will have overpass events, or check other standing protest groups for adjunct events. If there’s nothing, protest with a friend! Small protests in remote or deep-red places inspire people nationwide! Report your numbers to the Crowd Counting Consortium, and you’ll add to the total!
