If you garden, share your seeds! Find out if you have a seed exchange in your area. If you do, give surplus seeds, or take some. If not, gift your extras on a Buy Nothing group, organize a seed swap, trade with a friend, or start a whole seed library!
Looking for a good community-building activity? Throw a toiletry kit “potluck.” Decide how many kits you’ll make, then ask each person to bring one travel-sized item in sufficient numbers. If you have extra people, throw in a treat or some cash. Click through for lists and more ethical places to buy. Keep them in the car to hand out, put in community pantries, or donate to a shelter.
Prepare an “elevator pitch” to use for whatever awful new thing the regime has done that matters to you. Choose something you find yourself answering a lot, or something you wish more people understood, and distill a short, non-confrontational, educational pitch.
