Fascism starts with groups the general public already harbors doubts about. It looks for cracks. Push back by humanizing everyone. Don’t let mis-gendering of trans folks pass. Dismantle racist tropes like the idea that Black people have less physical pain. Look for the Achilles heel in your own beliefs- which group feels different to you? Spend time with their history and culture until you get over it!

We’ve all made mistakes. When we admit to them, we help heal the world. Talk openly about things you’ve evolved on, and how that evolution happened. Admit you were once imperfect, and help others grow. Gemar chatimah tovah!
Is there someone or something you feel like you owe reparations to? Maybe it’s a friend you forgot to pay back until it was so overdue it felt awkward, or perhaps it’s more existential. Look for a way to cancel out your debt. Be creative. Sometimes the person we owe isn’t here any more. Others times the thing we feel responsible for may be less concrete. Get creative, and repay a debt weighing you down.
