Insurrection Day

On January 6th 2021, Donald Trump rallied his irregulars to steal an American election. We failed to jail him, then he pardoned 1600 people convicted of serious crimes that day. In 2026 some of them plan to march on DC in celebration, so we counter with an American Guy Fawkes Night. Make sure our grandchildren remember the day we let insurrection pass unpunished, and what happened. Dedicate at least one hour on Jan6 to resistance.

Trump Pass

The 2026 America the Beautiful Park Pass features Trump’s face (alongside Washington’s.) There are lawsuits, but if you’d rather NOT stare at Trump’s face every time you access a National Park, go get one before the end of December. It’s good for twelve months and features 2025 designs.

Starbucks Strike

Boycott Starbucks

The Starbucks strike began November 13th, and expanded to 2,500 baristas November 28th. In December they began camping outside headquarters, and still no negotiations. Don’t buy Starbucks! If you have gift cards, either hold them, or donate to unhoused neighbors.
