Social media is exploding with disinformation. Push back actively to see the content you actually want.

Every time you see something you like, interact with it. Comments are best. If you miss someone’s wall, go to it and interact—it’ll show up in your feed. When you see content you don’t want, take a moment to hide or block it. Your feed will improve quickly, and your social media neighbors will benefit too!

Humanize People

Fascism starts with groups the general public already harbors doubts about. It looks for cracks. Push back by humanizing everyone. Don’t let mis-gendering of trans folks pass. Dismantle racist tropes like the idea that Black people have less physical pain. Look for the Achilles heel in your own beliefs- which group feels different to you? Spend time with their history and culture until you get over it!
